It’s that time of year again (it feels like it’s been “that time of year” since before Halloween!). The malls are packed with shoppers, FedEx, UPS, and the Postal Service are trying desperately to keep up with all the Amazon deliveries, and everywhere you go Christmas carols fill the air.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I love a good Christmas carol – especially when it’s filled with some great guitar playing! I’ve been known to head bang on occasion, and I feel like that shouldn’t change, even at Christmastime.
I know what you’re probably thinking: Head banging? Guitar riffs? Not in MY Christmas carols! Listen, music is like eggnog. There are all kinds of things you can mix with it to make it delicious, and not everyone has the same taste. Sure, lots of people love carols that conjure up visions of Nat King Cole or Bing Crosby crooning in front of a fire.
However, if you, or a loved one or friend, prefer music that’s a bit more rock ‘n’ roll and less pop than the Christmas music we’re all inundated with while in public, then I highly recommend the “Ho, Ho, Hoey” holiday albums by Gary Hoey. There are five different albums and a video, and I guarantee they won’t disappoint! Check it out below!
Remember, Always Drive Safely!
It wouldn’t be a holiday blog post without my yearly friendly reminder to be safe out there!
During the holiday season, you may come across some of the same hazardous driving situations found in our simulator. While our simulations can be experienced safely, the real-world can be totally unpredictable. Be aware, be vigilant, and, above all, if you’ve enjoyed one too many of your favorite eggnogs while head banging to Hoey, please, let someone else drive!
From all of us here at STISIM Drive and Systems Technology, we wish you, your family, and your colleagues a joyous, and SAFE, holiday season! May the season be full of mirth and merriment, and we’ll see you in the new year!
