As we mentioned previously, the STISIM Drive team was pleased to exhibit our Model 300WS/Console simulator at this year’s American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) national conference in Salt Lake City, UT.
Trade shows are a tremendous way to get out and see a lot of friendly faces – and to meet new ones. We do our best to take advantage of trade shows as much as time (and budget) will allow. Even though we were unable to squeeze in a little time to hit the slopes, we can sum up the 2018 AOTA show in one word: awesome!
It’s always nice to meet prospective clients, but one of the primary functions of trade shows is to get feedback from existing clients. This is how we learn, grow, and plan for the future. We were lucky enough to receive an incredible amount of feedback from current clients, potential clients, and even people who use our competitor’s products.
We truly appreciate every bit of feedback we received. We’ll review all that info and use it to help us plan for future simulation expansions.
Aside from all the wonderful interactions we had with clients (and potential clients), here are a few other highlights from the show:
- Seeing our friends from Radford University who have used our simulator for more than five years. They were in the booth next to us!
- Visiting with Anne Dickerson Ph.D (and some of her students) from Eastern Carolina University. They told us all about their recent research and their plans for future expansion.
- I know I keep saying this, but it was really, really awesome to get a chance to visit with many of our existing clients, some of whom we’ve been working with for almost 20 years!
- Getting another chance to have a burger and a little bourbon at the best burger joint in Utah: Lucky 13.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello! We look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s AOTA conference in New Orleans. Put the date in your calendar: April 4-6, 2019.
